Ulrich Schwendimann

Ulrich Schwendimann is active in bringing Polish and Swiss business communities together. This includes consultancy for both Polish and Swiss companies, wanting to enter the respective markets, as well as the organisation of events and other initiatives dedicated to various professional groups and industry sectors.

The Polish-Swiss Chamber of Commerce is an independent bilateral association representing more than 215 Swiss and Polish companies. It is registered in Warsaw as a voluntary association under Polish law and is not funded by public institutions. The Chamber supports networking among its members, promotes their interests, organises events, and contributes to successful bilateral trade and investment.

Ulrich Schwendimann graduated in Slavonic and Business Studies from the University of Zurich and completed an Executive MBA at the Warsaw University of Technology. Before his assignment with the Chamber he worked as a journalist and researcher at the University of Zurich.

Pablo Padrutt

Pablo Padrutt is the Head of Economic, Financial and Scientific Affairs at the Embassy of Switzerland in Poland. As a Swiss career diplomat, he was posted in Bern and Pristina before relocating to Warsaw in July 2020. Before joining the foreign service, Pablo had worked as a management consultant in India and in Switzerland. He holds a Master’s Degree in international relations from the Graduate Institute of International and Development Studies in Geneva and a Masters of Advanced Studies in Development and Cooperation from ETH Zurich.

Prof. Dipl.-Ing.Ute Schneider

Ute Schneider is one of the partners of KCAP. She is co-responsible for the management of the office and in charge of coordinating KCAP Zurich’s projects, spanning from architecture to the design and development of masterplans and transformation strategies in various scales and contexts. Her expertise focuses on transport-oriented developments such as various station precincts and airport city developments. In 2020, Ute was appointed Professor of Urban Design at the TU Vienna. She is a frequent lecturer and a valued member of a wide range of international selection commissions, juries, and advisory boards.

Radosław Palmowski

General Manager at Zehnder Polska, responsible for the market strategy, developing the commercial organization and business performance on the Polish market.

Previous experience gained in various sales management positions in large multinationals e.g. PPG Industries, Cadbury.

Since 2017 supporting students of the University of Wrocław as part of the mentoring program.

Graduated in economics, passionate about rock concerts and motorbikes – in the racing sports as well as distant adventure expeditions – keen on working with people, and willingly sharing experience.

Piotr Lesiak

Piotr Lesiak – graduated from the Warsaw School of Economics and the University of Warsaw, since July this year is the Head of the Swiss Business Hub in Warsaw. For over 9 years he worked at the Polish-German Chamber of Industry and Commerce, where he was responsible for project and team management and of the Market Consultancy Department. He was also responsible for searching partners for German and Polish companies, preparing analyses and studies, and conducting projects on behalf of institutional partners from Germany and Poland. He has also conducted numerous presentations for Polish and German exporters.

Jakub Kuszewski

Country Manager Forbo Flooring Poland. An expert in flooring solutions available on the market. Initiator of Forbo Flooring membership in PLGBC (one of the founding companies of the Association). Promoter of sustainable development in construction in Poland. A graduate of the Faculty of Management at the Lublin University of Technology. Participant of many prestigious business trainings at INSEAD Fontainebleau and London Business School.

Alicja Kuczera

Graduate of the International Relations faculty at Warsaw University and Executive MBA at Coventry University.

Sustainability was always in the field of her interest. As the CEO of Polish Green Building Council, Alicja is especially interested in two areas of sustainability: circular buildings and the process of building and construction sector decarbonization.

Author of numerous reports and publications on green building and speaker at various conferences and events organized in Poland and abroad.

In private life a happy mum, keen on travelling (has visited 81 out of 196 yet-to see countries), adores a healthy and eco lifestyle.

Rafał Krupiński

Architectural Consultant at IGP Pulvertechnik Polska sp. z o.o., licensed architect.

He graduated from the Silesian University of Technology in Gliwice with a master’s degree in architecture. He gained experience in the profession in architectural offices in Silesia region in Poland. As an independent leading architect, he implemented various residential, commercial and industrial projects.

He uses the acquired theoretical and practical knowledge during everyday cooperation with architects and designers throughout Poland, enriching the implemented projects with solutions in the field of powder coatings. In his work, he is always guided by trust, partnership, safety and quality of the proposed design solutions.

Agnieszka Kalinowska-Sołtys

Architect, Partner and member of the management board at the APA Wojciechowski Architects. President of national main board at the SARP  (Polish Association of Architects) an member of the business council UN Global Compact Poland. She completed her master’s degree in architecture at the Warsaw University of Technology, postgraduate studies in Project Management at the Warsaw School of Economics and postgraduate studies in Property Management at the Faculty of Economics at the Warsaw University of Life Sciences. Since 2010 she has held BREEAM Assessor, LEED GA and WELL Standard specialist – green building solution, circular economy of building materials. She participated in many awarded office, commercial, and retail projects meeting the high requirements of green building solutions. She is a co-founder of the OSWBZ (Polish Institute for Ecological Buildings).

Werner Huber

Werner Huber born 1964 in Zurich) studied architecture at the ETH Zurich from 1985 to 1991. From 1992 to 1994 he lived in Moscow, where he reported on the urban development of the city for Swiss and Dutch newspapers and magazines. After his return to Switzerland he was an assistant at the Department of Architecture of the ETH Zurich. He then worked in a local architecture practice and wrote articles for various publications. Since 2001, he is editor at “Hochparterre”, the renowned Swiss magazine for architecture and design, since 2019 he is a Member of the Executive Board. Since his first visit in 1986, he is a regular visitor of Warsaw. He developed his knowledge of socialist realism and modernism as an important basis for the classification of Polish architecture in the political and social context. He often guides groups interested in architecture around the Polish capital. In 2005 he published a guide to the urban history of Warsaw: “Warsaw – phoenix from the ashes” and in 2015 an architectural city Guide “Warsaw”, both in German.
