Let’s build better and more sustainably! The real estate sector is responsible for almost 40% of global CO2 emissions through construction (1/3) and building operation, including heating and cooling (2/3). A third of all waste in the EU is construction waste. Swiss and Polish architects, developers, policy-makers, managers and researchers are invited to this year’s Polish-Swiss Innovation Day to discuss sustainable construction, innovative designs, energy-efficiency and much more. Register now and join us to learn more about “Projekt 118”, which achieved 70% component reuse and won the 2021 Global Holcim Award for Sustainable Construction, or about NEST (Next Evolution in Sustainable Building) of EMPA, an internationally acclaimed R&D site for sustainable building technologies.
